SignHealth is a charity that supports Deaf people get better access to Health care and information.
Many Deaf people struggle to visit the doctor as they cannot make an appointment on the phone. When an appointment can be made, a Deaf person may struggle to communicate with their Doctor to tell them what is wrong and often there will be no interpreter to help. This means that many Deaf people can be unwell for a long time and receive no help.
SignHealth works to help Deaf people with these barriers.
