Sign2sing’s 2017 song ‘Together’ has a strong anti-bullying message, telling us that we’re ‘better off together’. That’s why we’re getting behind Anti Bullying Week (14-18th November).
The theme this year is #powerforgood. The aim of the week is to:
- Support children and young people to use their power for good by understanding the waysin which they are powerful and encouraging individual and collective action to stop bullying and create the best possible world.
- Help parents and carers use their power for good by supporting children with and cares to use their power for good to support children with issues relating to bullying and and working together with schools to stop bullying.
- Encourage all teachers, school support staff and youth workers to use their power for good, by valuing the difference they can make in a child’s life and taking individual and collection action to prevent bullying and creating safe environments where children can thrive.
