Well done to everyone at Heathlands School! Their work to raise money for sign2sing has been recognised in the 2016 Herts Ad School Awards. The special school for deaf children won the Innovation/Project of the Year Awards at the ceremony at Oaklands College. Heathlands are big supporters of sign2sing and a number of pupils appeared in the video for the 2016 song Reach Out Your Hand.

The Herts Ad School Awards recognise excellence in education in the St Albans Area. The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday 22nd June and saw teachers and pupils rewarded for their contribution to their school and education in the area.
The Innovation/Project of the Year award, which was sponsored by Collinson Hall, is awarded to a school that has embarked on an innovative project within the last 12 months that benefits the school and the wider community. Heathlands won the award for organizing a number of fundraising events to help sign2sing support vulnerable deaf children in the UK and Uganda. The judges felt the children deserved the award for their hard work and thoughtfulness to others.
