Police officers from Hampshire Police Link Officers for Deaf People (PLOD) are challenging other emergency services to help vulnerable deaf people by signing and singing in 2016. Hampshire PLOD are joining in with sign2sing for the second year running and they want other police forces and ambulance and fire crews to follow their example.
The team promote and deliver accessible services to ensure that deaf people are included in the community and have access to police services. Officers are trained in BSL so that they can provide the best possible service to the deaf community.

For sign2sing 2015 the officers made a video of them performing the sign2sing song Joining Hands Today with Fletch. Now they want to encourage colleagues across the emergency services to take part too.
